Default 3.5l Ecoboost engine codes

I have a 2014 F150 3.5l ecoboost and lately the engine light will come on and go off. There is a lack of power at highway speeds and when parked and idling it feels like it might be misfiring, its slightly more vibration than normal. I don't have an odd noise at startup, I've done some reading on the timing chain issues and it seems like that is a key indicator, so I don't think that is it.

The codes I have are:
P0016 Crankshaft Position – Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1, Sensor A)
P0299 Turbocharger/Supercharger Underboost Condition
P054A Cold Start B Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced Bank 1

I received the code readout from Auto Zone and their report seems to indicate the Cam Shaft position sensor should be replaced.

Thanks for any help,
Tim

nope, probably not a camshaft position sensor. be prepared to break out the wallet

stretched timing chain

you can try a sensor but i doubt it will fix anything

That's what I'm afraid of, I'll be taking it to a shop later this week to have them look at the timing chain and to see how many teeth are showing on the tensioner. If it is the dreaded timing chain issue any thing for me to be aware of or other things I should have done since it will be all opened up?

replace the guides and tensioners while you are in there, there is a kit that comes with everything in there except the guides and tensioners
