2020 Ford F 150
Good Evening Ford Fans,
I just got a new 2020 Ford F 150 and need some recommendations...
1. Toolbox/chest for bed of truck - preferably one that fits perfectly, but I can deal with the box hanging off the side of the bed. The bed on the outside is roughly 60" wide and 58.5" wide inside to inside. Would like to be under $500-$600..
2. BF Goodrich Tires is what I was looking at, but want more suggestions, I am looking to get a leveling kit and think new tires would make it better. (Would like to be under $300 a tire - I am looking for 30-33" off road thick tires)
I have never owned a Ford F 150 (used to be a Chevy guy) What does everyone think?
Thanks

Welcome! UWS is a pretty good toolbox. Mine did have a weld come loose though on the piece on the inside of the box that covers the latch that goes from one handle to the other. Either way it was a $350 box I got on Craigslist for $140 for my tacoma. You can feel the quality on a good toolbox. For example I think the UWS box I have has two layers of aluminum on the lid with foam in between. Barely flexes when I stand on it (140ishlb) not that that’s recommended...
also, consider your future plans. If you’re eventually wanting a tonneau cover or cap/shell, you can keep the toolbox if you get a chest type but will have to remove it if you get an over-the-rail toolbox
