I just bought my first F150, a 2011 F150 Platinum with the Ecoboost 3.5L engine, and was looking for a place that had info concerning my problems with the truck. My old truck, a 2004 F250 with the 6.0L Power stroke blew up with 85993 miles on it and left us stranded in GA. Ford said it would take at least 2 weeks to repair it. So we bought this F150. The F150 has had major problems; engine fuel mileage (12 to 14 mpg), transmission shifting problems, brakes, and tires. This was a new truck that was brought in from another dealership. When we bought the truck, it had 553 miles and now has 2113 miles on it. I've had it in the shop twice. The first time I was told I didn't know how to drive the truck. The second found the following; front brake rotors needed to be turned, the transmission had to have new clutches and servos, engine and transmission computers needed to be recalibrated, the fuel filler neck had to be replaced, and all 4 tires had to be replaced. All of this on a truck that has 2113 miles on it and of those, 1500 are ours. Needless to say, we are very disappointed in the truck, as we were with the F250 after the engine blew. If anyone has any answers, we would greatly appreciate it.

 

Take it to Ford, if it is that new, than they will fix it no questions.

I would change dealers... And let them look at it.... But i would get ahold of someone that knew what they were doing.
