Hello All
I have a question that I'm positive it’s been asked here before, but I can’t seem to find it. I found ALOT of info on the HVAC
actuators and I’ve learned some lessons because I’ve done the job twice, lesson learned: always install OEM Actuators on your truck. Period. Anyway. I got in my 2011 F150 4x4 SCREW XLT and found half of an armature laying on the floor board. I found where it goes and what it attaches to, and I do believe I have the metal rod also…someplace. The question I have is can I go thru the center of the dash to repair this armature or does the dash come out. Again I know im probably beating a dead horse, but I can’t seem to find answers for this particular issue. I know I'm not the only one that it has happened to. If the dash comes out I get it. But just don’t want to do more work than I have too. Anyway. I know there’s a lot of smart guys here and I do value your opinions on different issues with my F150.
