Default 2004 4.6 Intermittent throttle problems

Hello all, I have a 2004 f150 (the new body style) 4.6l 2wd. I started having a strange problem about a year ago and it seems to be getting worse. The truck with randomly drop rpms to idle while driving and turns on the anti theft lamp on top of the dashboard, no blinking just solid on. If I apply the throttle harder it will turn out the anti theft lamp and rpms will return to normal. It also stalled out twice at a stop but started right back up when I turned the key. It will happen during acceleration or when I’m using cruise control, hot or cold, summer or winter. I replace the TPS which didn’t help. I took it to a dealership and they told me that they can’t figure it out. I’d appreciate any help thank you.

Welcome.
Suggest you post your issue in the ( 2004 - 2008 Ford F150 ) section of the site..

Welcome to the forum. Do you get a CEL, or have you tried to see if there are any codes present?
