1995 inconsistant start
Hello!
I'm stumped and need help.
1995 F150 4x4 crew cab, 5.8L, auto transmission, power everything, 128k miles.
Problem:
It will not start consistantly, occassionally it will start and run fine until shut off and then it will not start again. Truck will crank but not fire, NO spark at coil during those times. Fuel pressure is good all the times.
Ran fine for 150 miles after purchase then distributor gears stripped. Replaced distributor, cap, rotor, TFI module, starter switch, TP sensor. Tested coil and it is good and I still replaced it.
I have had hands on help from 3 mechanics, 1 with a EEC tester and, they are stumped.
Any ideas?
