I'm not a professional by any means and this was just some mid winter preventative maintenance as I had waxed the truck with Mothers FX Paste wax prior to the snow falling.

Rinse & Wash/Wax with Mothers California Gold Car Soap
Detailed Plastic with Mothers Back to Black
1 Coat of Mothers FX Spray Wax

I took this pic from inside the house while the truck was in the morning sun, Truck has only 4,800km's on it.

You couldn't have made a better colour choice

Wish my 2013 RR FX4 SCrew looked that clean now, Geez I can't wait until spring

She looks right purdy sitting in the snow..............

Love my RR. It's tough in the winter, as I can't keep it anywhere near as clean as other times of the year. When I run it through the car wash to get the grime off, it looks okay for a few minutes.

I don't drive my truck much especially in winter. This past month I put on 500km's on it lol. Work away from home 7 days at a time.

I do cringe when I drive it on the highway and get it loaded with salt, considering what these trucks cost its a shame to see them covered in that.

Thats why I "RustCheck" every year. Here in Newfoundland a truck is lucky to get 5-6 years without major rust. I had a '03 F150 sold it in 2010. Day I sold it, it looked as good as the day I bought it. No signs of rust anywhere. Guy that bought it told me he could have bought same truck as mine for alot cheaper but mine was rustchecked. Made all the difference in the world.....

I put mine up on the Hoist and applied an oil based coating myself, best investment you can do. After a few years of rust check it builds a coating so thick nothing will get to the metal lol.

I wish I had a shop to wash my truck in. With the cold I had to wait almost 3 weeks to wash mine then I had to beat people to the coin wash just to rinse it off when it hit +1 the other day
