I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has used thinned basecoat black to tint chrome? Please help anyone.lol

 

well here is the problem that i see..... chrome is very hard for paint to adhere to.... but in my honest opinion black chrome looks good... i had black chrome wheels on my 07 silverado and if i could find black chrome wheels, step bars etc to match i would do it in a heart beat... especially since i have a white truck...

You may try asking around a few body shops and see what hey say... but i think you have a good idea...
