Default Side View Mirror Spots

I'm assuming these are water spots. I've never sprayed anything on the mirror covers. Will white vinegar and distilled water be ok to use? Anything better out there? What should i use after to protect the plastic
Thanks.

Never been through a car wash?

You'll want to use a general purpose cleaner, or degreaser here, you'll need a soft brush, or something that will reach into the dimpled plastic, to clean all this out.
To protect, a good hybrid ceramic spray will work, i also like CarPro PERL for any plastic/rubber dressing, it doesn't wash off like 303 does.

That looks like some kind of dressing slung up on the mirrors. They do not look like water spots.
