Hey everyone,
Last night I had a few hours after work so I did some work on my truck. So without further ado here is my process and my results.
1. Washed with two bucket method (turtle wax ice car wash)/microfiber wash mitt and dried with microfiber towels.
2. Quick detailed the back end with meguiars quick detailer to ensure I had a clean surface.
3. I did not clay as the Baggie test yielded a smooth feel to the truck already.
4. Polished the paint and chrome painted surfaces with Meguiars Ultimate Polish, meguiars da power system drill attachment, and a corded dewalt drill.
5. Applied meguiars back to black on all black trim pieces with a microfiber applicator. Wiped off excess.
6. Applied collinite 845 over everything.
I'm very satisfied with the results. I may apply a carnuba wax over the collinite to see if that yields a deeper blue. What do you guys think!?
