The leaf blower trick works.

My favorite is after the truck is all washed, just hop in and go for a quick drive on the highway.

Then come home a few minutes later and hit it with some spray wax and tire shine.

This is a bugger for me, I can't reach the middle of the roof to polish/wax/seal it. I use a step stool/ladder, and even then can't reach all the way due to the shaped of the sides, can't get in close enough, and opening the doors to do it only gets me so far. It is even more difficult with a topper on since can't use the bed.

I use a short step ladder, or open the doors along with a short but extendable microfiber wash pad from wally world.. Drying is another thing, only the tallest people can see the roof panel but I do try and get most of the water spots off the roof. Windshield is a pain, i just got some of those 18-24" wands like you find at the gas stations but I use Rain X on it to help make it easier the majority of the time.
