[Pics] Spring Cleaning
Well since the weather was nice today I decided to spend some time cleaning up the truck. This only the second truck I've ever clay bar'ed and it amazes me how smooth and shiney the finish turns out. I think it turned out GREAT!
Now is time to order the 35's to go under it!

I had swirls in my finish the first time I waxed my truck when I first bought it. That's why I decided to claybar it this time. I think the claybar is what got rid of my swirls, other thing I learned is to put a light coat of wax on and let it COMPLETELY dry. I think I always try to take it off too soon, causing swirls.
Thanks for the compliments, I think I finally got the whole process figured out this time!
@Pcwiz13 Haha I know what you mean, I never have time to perform what I call my "normal" wash. I cheat sometimes as well going through those "touchless carwashes." I never seem to find the time to get out the ol' bucket and sponge!
The clay bar is designed to get rid of surface contaminants the cause the paint/clearcoat to feel "rough" to the touch. It takes the out "roughness" by creating some weird form of friction. Don't get me wrong it looks GREAT man! I know what you mean by letting the wax completely dry, my supercrew get's waxed with Meguiar's Gold Class, what are you using?
Keep the truck clean! Best of luck!
