Has anyone tried the new Meguire's Ultimate wax? I'm using the NXT Tech Wax right now and thinking about trying it but was wondering if it has better results than the tech wax before I buy a bottle.

I have the Wax (Liquid) and polish... now I just need a few days without rain to apply. I did see they have the Ultimate in a paste now (O'Reilly's)... wish I had waited a bit.

At $20.... I'm not sure I will do it again but figured I would give it a shot.
I'll post pics/thoughts when i get a chance to doing it.

Cool, throw in some before and after pics if you can. I read on Meguire's website that the polish is mainly for dark colored vehicles to prevent swirl marks that can occur when applying the wax.

I used Meguire's Ultimate wax once. Washed,clay bar, and waxed. Seemed good to go. 2 weeks later and it was like i never did it. Did the truck over again with Collinite 845 , 1 month later much happier. Will not use the Meguire's again. I still like Meguirs wax cleaner just not the Ultimate.

I've had pretty good success with Meguiars "Gold Class" Wax. I haven't had any luck with the Ultimate, same problem as above, a couple weeks later and it appeared I had never waxed it.

I have been really happy with Megs Carnuba applied over their NXT.
Never tried their Ultimate.

BTW prices, especially for the Carnuba, really vary from place to place.

Sometimes, don't you just think its a marketing thing.

ULTIMATE - - yeah, much better ? ? ? best there is? LOL

I've used NXT 2 for a while and it does well.

I use the ultimate spray in between waxes and I love it. It's very easy to use and keeps the truck slick.

I just used the Meguiars ultimate paste wax today for the first time. I was happy with the results but what I especially liked is that even if you put it on a little thick, it comes off effortlessly. obviously I can't say how well it holds up since I just did it but I plan on ordering some better stuff soon.
