Not to terribly derail this thread.....
I like the Meguiars Black Wax. Great results.

I really like Turtle Wax Ice but have been wanting something to last longer especially with the winters in Iowa. I will do some sort of combo of this ceramic product and a wax as you dry product this summer.

I'm right with you. No wax lasts very long here in the sunbelt.

After reading many reviews on Meguiers Hybrid Cermanic wax I decided to try it. It was on sale for $12 per bottle at Advance Auto Parts so I figured what the heck?
I have been using Meguiers M21 Synthetic Sealant on my vehicles. It is easy to apply and remove and it seems to work pretty good. I'm an old fart who believes you need to rub something on and buff it off to really do any good.
I decided to do a trial on my wife's VW Beetle. One side of the hood with the M21 Sealant and the other with the Hybrid spray stuff. The paint was clean and the car lives in the garage. It was already shiney so neither of the applications increased the shine. The M21 side was 'slicker' to the touch than the Hybrid spray. I expected that since the M21 is buffed off and the Hybrid stuff is merely rinsesed and towel dried. It is too soon to say which beads water longer.
I decided to do my 2019 F150 with the Hybrid spray. It is certainly easy enough to apply as directed and easy is important to me at age 69. The F150 was done with the M21 about 3 months ago and still beads pretty well. I followed the instructions for a first application of the Hybrid spray (wash, rinse, spray on wax, wipe it around, rinse it off, spray it on again, rinse well then towel dry).
Truck looks good but it always has since I keep it that way. What I did notice is that when I was doing the final towel dry the water seemed to come off the truck easier. I could wipe an area just one time and it seemed dry with no water left.
So at this point I will say it was cheap enough and easy to apply. I'm counting on Meguiers that they did not make crap. How it holds up over time is yet to be determined. My money is on the M21 since I have more faith in 'wax on, wax off' products.

Holy smokes, Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic wax is awesome! I tried it out on my wife's '13 Sienna (I'm not using MY new truck as the guinea pig!) and I cannot believe how good it looks. The shine and water-beading are far superior to what I got with Meg's NXT Generation Tech Wax, and the ceramic wax is a lot easier to apply.
I would like to use it on my XLT, but I also have some Collinite 845 I want to try, and I'm not sure how both waxes will work with each other, or which one to use first, etc.
Hybris Ceramic wax is really impressive. I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up.
