Default Favorite window cleaner?

What's your favorite window cleaner to use? Any special techniques? I'm tired of the streaks and want something that works.

here are a few tips.

use one towel to clean, and another to wipe down. Switch to different sections of the towel as you switch to different windows to keep from transfering the "grime"

in most cases less window cleaner the better.

Sonax window cleaner has been nearly flawless for me.
Sprayway window cleaner is very nice in most cases.

this can be bought at Detailedimage.com

Cheers,
GREG

i use Smart Wax Quick-Detailer to clean my windows. It leaves zero streaks and leaves my windows looking pretty much invisible. also when it rains outside the water beads right off and its super easy to clean once you start using it. tree sap, bird crap, etc... wipes off pretty easily with a rag in between window cleanings.

I would take note of Greg's techniques. That way works amazingly well for me. I HATE cleaning the glass; however, using that technique makes it nearly impossible to carry crap and frustration from one window to the next. As far as the glass cleaner, Auto Finesse Crystal Glass Cleaner has worked 99.9% of the time with no problems. It cuts through the nose slobber from my lab effortlessly. The smell is somewhat displeasant, but for how well it works I deal with it. If your going for budget glass cleaner, the meguiars professional line glass cleaner works pretty dang good and smells like grape. 😤I don't like grape scented stuff. Or, you could even use o.t.c. Stoner Invisible Glass. It works great with the above mentioned techniques. There are lots of options for a glass cleaner, but use two microfibers, preferably with a tight/short weave to clean the glass, and a regular one to buff the glass to perfection and you should be good! Have fun!

Just take a drop of dawn or joy dishwashing detergent in a little bit of water (Probably a quart or two at the most!) in a bucket and agitate until you see a few bubbles. Take a cloth rag, dip it into the bucket of water that you added the dishwasher liquid to then clean your windows. After washing them immediately dry them with clean paper towels and you should have super-clean glass with zero streaks!

Always works for me....

I have been a fan of Sprayway for many, many years & still love it.

Now, in many cases, I no longer use any glass cleaning chemicals.
I have been using the Fast Glass - 100% Streak Free Glass Cloth.
Just a little moisture on the cloth and wipe a streak free window.
