Engine bay cleaning
What would be the best way to clean it? I know pressure washers aren't good on em and plus i aint got one lol. Its 22 years worth of southwest texas dirt roads, and mudding lol so any tips would help
When you get done cleaning and want to dress the plastics and hoses, use CD-2 follow the directions and allow it to dry, wipe off excess. The product will not be oily thus not allowing future dirty to create a muddy, dirty mess. In a lot of cases I can just wipe down the bay with a damp towel.

I use a simple method that usually takes me about 15-30 minutes.
Cleaning:
Cover all electrical parts with food bags with the elastic tops.
If the engine has grease and crud I use Gunk degreaser first.
(note be aware that the residue will fall on your driveway)
If it's fairly clean I use Simple Green diluted 1:1 and spray.
Use rags etc. to wipe clean all the areas to make sure they're clean.
Then rinse off the Simple green with a light mist of water
Make sure ALL electrics are covered and mind the driveway residue.

Dressing:
I like Gunk Bright or CD-2 for the metals (follow mfg instructions)
NOTE: I've also had very good results with SONUS Trim & Motor Kote
I dress the hoses with Vinylex. Application can be done matte or shiny.
If you have billet, chrome or stainless steel they are all done separate.
