Default correction/polishing lighting

What is a decent light set up? Was looking at LED, 10,000 lumens, 5500k....should be in the ballpark?

Please clarify your question.

Why are you talking about lumen when you're asking in the detailing area about polishes.
Or do you want to polish your headlight covers that are dull to increase lumen?

Your question doesn't make any more sense today than it did in July.

I wanted to know what people were using for a correction/polishing light setup. 5-6k leds, and stand type? What works, what doesn’t.

I bought the scangrip match 3. Its expensive, but it is bad ***. https://www.scangrip.com/en-gb/shop/...imatch-3-light You dont need 10k lumens. With that said, Ive also done some of my best work with a halogen work light on a stand also...

Ya, after seeing the DIY set ups 10k is pretty overkill. Was looking at the Home Depot lights originally.....tossed that idea.

Ahh okay. You are looking for a light to shine ON your vehicle to look for paint inperfections

Still didn't understand it even after you wrote the same thing over.

Eyecandy was smart though and posted a link. After a few minutes of staring at it I realized what type of lights you wanted.

Sorry.

What I like about the scangrip is the ability to change brightness (10% - 25% - 50% - 75% - 100%) on 2500k - 3500k - 4500k - 5500k - 6500k, so you can mimic almost any lighting conditions with a swipe on your phone.
