Cleaning interior window surfaces.
For the past 40 years I've been driving I've always used Windex and newspaper, never any streaks, always clean. We still have junk mail that comes in on the same type of paper so even though newspapers are rare, it's still available and usually scattered across my lawn. Wind tunnel street I live on.

Moms 82 now but I remember as a kid her doing that but she used 60/50 water and vinegar instead of windex
seems as tech gets techier we look for advanced solutions for simple problems that have long ago been solved
i have couple of ocd issues and one is clean windows. Lol. So I’m always open to learn new tricks
Thanks for reminding me , gonna go search the recycle bin in the commons building
Almost any good window cleaner is fine. BUT used good micro fiber towels. Not those cheapey ones from Harbor Freight. And wipe wipe and keep wiping. If you clean thoroughly often, it becomes easier. I use micro fiber towels from Obsessed Garage. These towels have the right weave and contents for windows.
I have been using mr. clean magic eraser on my windshield only not on tinted glass with a microfiber towel just for the windshield, and it does a great streak free job! With the other glass I use stoners.
I know this is an old thread but like to read other's ideas.
I either use a wet chamois or diluted white vinegar wiping off with newspaper. I never seen a window cleaner yet that didn't streak.

The more liquid you spray on the glass (like rain on the outside), the cleaner it will become. Cleaning them in cool weather gives you more time to wipe them before the cleaning fluid evaporates. Newsprint hides the streaks because the dark ink sticks to the dust particles better than it sticks to the glass; so even though the streaks are there, you don't notice them. I put water, Windex, & Dawn in the w/s spray tank; and use either Windex or the same mixture everywhere else (the few times a year that I clean my windows) with normal paper towels.
