Default 3M Pro paint protection films

Anyone done a DIY? pros? cons? Have a 2019 sport lariat and want to protect the painted grill and bumper

Yes, I have, and it is not a true DIY job! The fenders were the easy part, the hood, well, be prepared to cuss a lot and do not do it outdoors, especially if there is a wind! The bumper was the WORST!

I have 18" covering the hood and front of the fenders, and wheel lip, also covering the grill, lower valance below the grill and the full bumper.Take a look at the bumper and you will see the couple areas that would not meld and stick down, way too many compound curves to work with.




Next time I will pay to have the pro do it, let them struggle with these curves, way too much patience needed.
