Default trashing

When I peruse the board, and start to get interested in a vehicle, and at the end of the line of posts, I find the vehicle is sold. Why are these postings left on the board, all they are doing, is adding clutter and bother people like me looking for trucks for sale, and then hav to wade through, a bunch of ads that are already sold.

This goes for all the posts that have been made that are closed. If you need help clearing the clutter put me on as a moderator, or any number of others would be glad to do it, and help clean it up.\]\\\\\\\

Its time for spring cleaning.

if people that post the threads do as instructed in the classified rules they would notify a mod when the sale is complete so we can delete it but nobody does. there is no way for us (mods/ admin) to go through every single thread to make sure the sale is done, we take care of them when we do see them but we cant catch them all.

(PS. moved this to the appropriate section)

Default trash

Sorry did not now where to post this. It is sad that the people who are registered to this site will not conform, to its rules. There has been plenty of time when I asked about an item, and was told it had been sold, and the poster did not even post it as sold, afterwards.

I guess having posted item be only allowed to remain on the board for lets say twenty days, then they would be automatically tossed off, then the poster would have to repost. This would keep the trash off and keep members current on there posts and have them active here on the board at the same time. Sounds like a win win situation, atleast for the people who use the site responsibly
