okay i know there was a thread on this a little while ago but its happened to me now twice. I'll have just this forum opened and i'll be opening the threads I want to read in a different tab when I start to hear some ad start playing its audio. it's annoying because it interrupts anything I'm doing like listening to music. I know jon said that this wasn't supposed to happen so I thought I would give ya'll a heads up.
the one that happened most recently was the finish dishwasher soap commercial. Oh and even though I search the tabs I can never figure out which one is playing it

 

Happened to me four times today...er, yesterday. I think the ads pop up at random. Kinda creepy to be reading a thread in quiet then suddenly hear your computer talking.

 

Thanks for the heads up. They aren't supposed to be playing audio...so I will look in to it!

 

Might i suggest Firefox 4 with ad blocker i use it and no heart attacks scene i listen to music while online allot so the random audio really freaks me out

Hahaha.. I had it happen toItwas crazy... I started closing browsers i didnt know what was going on

 

JON!!!! I figured out where its coming from. its the small box ad thats right above the quick reply message box. damn thing did it to me again just 30 seconds ago. it was a lysol ad in the "hate to see it go" thread
