Exclamation Site "slow-down" and "running script"

Beginning yesterday (14Jan2013) the login time was VERY LONG, to the point that the browser (Internet Explorer 8) stalls and an error message window opens .....
-clicking- [ Yes ] (which stops the script from running), allows the login to proceed and there are no further response-time issues.

Again ...
  • started happening 14Jan2013. *Also happens at www.ford-trucks.com.
  • does not happen at any of the other 20-30 sites that I visit daily.
  • Other notes of interest ...
    • no changes have occurred in the PC and/or browser set-up/installation in over a year.
    • browser cache and cookies are routinely deleted. i.e. daily at boot.
    • DNS resolver cache is flushed daily at boot.
