I have noticed slot of members have clear photos of their license plates in their photo albums.
This should be corrected some bad guy can find your address from your plate and could steal your truck.

use hondos truck as a example...it is a nice truck won TOTM....if someone found his address from his plate they would know exactly where it is.

Im not worried about it.. you want to come steal my truck come try it.. people who hide their tags seem a little paranoid to me.. Some one can just as easily see your truck in the street get the tag number and go steal it that night actually thats probably a more likley scenario....
but hey like I said anyone wants to try stealing mine or my grandpas truck come on.. maybe if your lucky you wont bleed out before the paramedics arrive

Not to sound like a talleywacker, but I think that this is not a big issue and I agree with the paranoia that TLS mentions.
There is no need to blur out a tag that is PUBLIC INFORMATION every time that vehicle leaves your driveway or garage. Think of the 1000's of people that see that plate information on a weekly basis. I personally do not think that someone will see my car on the internet and hatch a meniacle plan to come steal it from hundreds of miles away since they have the tag number.
No, if someone is going to steal it they will most likely be someone who sees me riding down the road or sees my car parked somewhere.
On the flip side usa, you have a point about it being somewhat of a liability. There really would be no way to enforce it though.
Maybe one of the admins will approve an announcement stating that the responsibility lies within the member to remove any personally identifyable information from the vehicle if they so choose.

Aye, pretty much how I feel. It's not private information as tons of folks see it everyday. I understand magazines doing it, but it's more then likely for liability issues...
