Default Pay it forward

Hey guys, I'm new here, just got a 10' xlt screw. I was on the titan talk forum & they have a thread called "pay it forward". So people post things they have and basically send them for free in hopes that others will follow suite. I have both given and received from that forum. Is there one like it here? Or do u think we should start one?? Just curious! Being that I'm a new owner, I don't have anything to give yet but I'm looking for a Sirius radio if anyone has one lying around. Thanks

There is not a thread like this to my knowledge.

However, once you have 25 posts or have been a member for 60 days, you can start a thread like this in the Trades & Sales section.

Thanks,
Jon

We used to have a pay it forward on this site. I don't know what happened to it. I'll have to look and see if I have my old unit sirius unit. but if i remember the windshield mount was broke. give me a day or so to look around for it.

I'd be down with something like this....

What I've seen in other forums is a strictly give-away mentality...if someone has something they can post it up...maybe ask for shipping costs to help eat some of the cost...

Requests for items are usually frowned upon because it turns into a hunting competition for some people...

Just a thought YMMV

I think the asking part is needed! Let's just say someone has something but they didn't really think of getting rid of it until a fellow member has a need. Then it makes it more palatable knowing they just started a pay it forward theme. Then when they are in need they post it and if someone has it it's theirs!!
