Default How to keep the Spammers Out

Noticed this morning we got hit good with spammers, porno and all. I have a idea, why not make it where a new member can only reply to existing threads until they have made 25 posts then they can start new threads. The data in the search has enough info that most common truck questions can be found or the new thread could be channeled through a moderator then posted.

We've gotten hit by a lot of spam on other sites today soon. Annoying. We are working on a good way to keep them out.

I think we do get some new members who need to ask a specific question though, and we want new members to be able to do that.

I tried to click into them and said that I don't have proper security on my account to access this thread. I'm ok with it because I've got better things to do than look at spam.

I've added a logic question to the registration process, so I hope this will deter them. We'll see.

Sorry for everyone who came across this junk! Hopefully it will be cleaned up very soon!
