I saw on one other site.... and I've been on lots so i have to give them credit.... that they did a build thread section where you could make a journal without other peoples comments. They then encouraged people to make a separate build thread to talk about the build with everyone in the appropriate section (off road, lowered, or what have you)

here is the wording on the header of the forum:
Offroad Build Threads
The Build Thread area is for you to keep a closed thread detailing your work on your projects. Copy your tech pictures and writeups from other areas of the forum to your thread here.

here is an example of how it works. Just so you know I am Sully so these are my build threads.

I'd then make a thread for each thing I wanted to brag and get thoughts on like this:

I just think its a great idea. I love that I can read my build from start to finish. I can also link people like I just did and they can see everything I have done to that build.
