Default Ban Hammer

It might be my imagination but I’ve seen an increase in:

-people just posting sarcastic/unhelpful/rude comments out of nowhere.

-admins/mods having to clean up threads or tell people that have been here for years to play nice.

can we just start issuing 24/36/72 hour bans for some of these people? Are we keeping track of folks that need to be censored and cleaned up?

just seems like it turns more into Facebook here every day, lol.

bumping this thread. No longer a paid member so my post in the members only section is off limits, lol.

Not sure why mods/admins clean threads up multiple times, issue warnings, and then just close a thread instead of giving the offenders time off to get right with the Lord. Id rather you guys keep the ridiculous/childish/immature ramblings from the children up so the community can see their nonsense and just give the offenders a few days to collect themselves...that way their actions arent hidden or censored and they can decide if they want to come back or not and be productive.

Thats all

I'm a very sarcastic person myself.

But I agree. Unfortunately most of the new posts are just lazy people who can't search or want to be spoon fed answers.

I normally google and then reply

Agree, another board I frequent seems to require those types of posters to apologize in the same thread or else they are gone. Not saying it should be that way but it seems very effective there.
