So you gripe about the stucture of the forum, yet you couldn't even post this in the right section?

No, it means that your suggestion has nothing to do with you being an engineer.

As for me, most of the time, I'm not improving something that already exists, I am creating something where there was nothing. I worry more about making sure that the end result meets the clients requirements and budget.

In my experience in the oilfield, an engineer has never made anything better. Just more complicated and unrealistic.

Web space is cheap.

On a different note, maybe people would be more likely to support it if it were more user friendly where people could filter out what they do not want to see.
Obama doesn't work for the forums, you can't just complain and have it handed to you for free.

So you only try to meet expectations, not exceed them. That doesnt make clients return as often.

In my position, I strive to exceed requirements while reducing overall cost at the same time. That or propose ideas that will lead to large revenue increases for minor initial investment.

I completely agree about 95% of engineers, but how many of those Engineers worked in a fab shop for 4 years, ran their own fab shop for a couple of years, then worked in the oilfield for a couple before they became an engineer?

The more I think about this post, the more I realize...If there were subforums, then you would be able to avoid my complaints seeing that they are mostly about the dash...I sure wouldnt have posted it in a "General discussion" section.

Yes I complained about the shocks, but I took pictures of a bilstein front install and provided them to a member in need...something that never would have happened if I had been satisfied with OEM.
