Default ads are blocking everything..

the ads that pop out and get bigger are getting in the way of everything.. I can't access the "General Topics" section because there is a fuggin ad in the way... I can't access the introduction section because there is an ad in the way.... I can't add a new thread because there is an ad in the way..... I understand the forum needs ads but is it necessary for them to take up the whole fuggin screen..... I don't want to order some showtime crap...... can we please do something about this????

I finally got to the general discussions section... had to work my way around the fuggin "showtime" ad and I just realized this is like the third thread about these fuggin ads... hopefully the mods will realize this is a major flaw and needs to be fixed

Site has no control over ads, those are populated by Google based on site content. If you get a ton of ads, I would suggest you use Google Chrome or Firefox browser windows as those limit ads as well as could download free ad-blocker which removes them all.

If using Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../adblock-plus/

If using Chrome or Safari: http://code.google.com/p/adblockforchrome/

All of these are small programs, free & work well.

We're working on tracing the source. Its not one that the site had placed there.

The drawback is that there's only a handful of people seeing it. I personally don't run any sort of pop-up blocker or anything of that nature and I don't see it on either my office computer, my home PC or my home laptop. I run IE9 and Google Chrome on them.

The main way for us to trace them is the URL listing and nobody that can see them is able to obtain that address from the ad.
