Yet another exhaust post . . . . .
OK, I just had to! LOL!
Yes, I drove the V8, Yes I drove the Ecoboost.
Very first thoughts were on how QUIET the ecoboost is!
OMG! Why in the world would I take my driver and make it so loud!
Admittedly I love a great sounding exhaust. Especially on my hotrod.
However when I tow my travel trailer for hours on end, commute to work, or just launch a boat, the last thing I want to hear is loud exhaust! Quiet conversations with my bride, good music, or just a solitary drive are so much more enjoyable in an environment with less background noise for me!
I also get quite disappointed when I'm at the filling station and I hear that roar of a great sounding V8, look up and there is no hotrod do be seen. Just a PU.
For you who has spent big bucks making it sound terrific, HATS OFF to ya! They sound great!
However I prefer my subdued, quite, factory exhaust, sleeper!
Just another opinion on which exhaust . . . . .
