Drunk driver inna 07 ram hit me while i was slowing down at a stop sign. Damage wasnt bad as i though it would be tho. His driver side hit my driver side corner and crushed his fender then caught his door and almost ripped it off and dented his whole bed as he scraped against my corner. He hit the accelerator, i stomped my brakes, lets just say my truck won :P then this dumbass took off and i had to chase him while calling the cops, luckily for me we live in the same apartment complex lol

 

Damage is a lil worse than what the picture looks like, my front fender warped and shoved it into the door and i cant open the door or the hood. Bumper is almost hanging off and lights cracked kinda bad. Grille guard saved me alot of damage, but its all messed up ganna have to replace it

 

Bummer deal. I hate it when you have no control over what happens :-P Luckily it wasnt major! Now it will be a little awkward bumping into the jackass at your place...lol.

Sorry about the asshat that hit you, but at least you're ok. Maybe you can get after market parts for it with any insurance money you get.

 

This happened a couple weeks ago. Just got done with all the bs at least for a lil bit. Insurance totaled my truck and gave me 1200 since its so old they didnt want to pay for damages. Had to buy my own truck back from them now got $700 to fix a couple thousand in damage. Aint that some ****. I wasnt even at fault

 

Tbh, i know its old, but i dont think thats enough damage to total a vehicle

 

Well they value your truck at $1200 and I believe if the damage is more than 75% of value to fix it then its totaled, probably cost more than that just in the parts you will have in it. It really sucks now that you have a wrecks truck and it wasn't even your fault.

 

I also have a 2011 fusion,2010 focus, and 05 dodge full coverage on those with them. We both had state farm. Ive invested thousands ad thousands of dollars in state farm so that when something happens i get 700 bucks. Thats what makes me mad

 

Huh... And just imagine why Insurace Co's are soo rich!!!

 

Don't forget that we get to watch cleverly crafted commercials. Just love that talking GEICO pig and I'm sure it cost millions to make and air that.
