Would you go back?
Hello everyone... I recently factory ordered a 2010 xtr... I am debating on going back to the original dealer my family and I went to and did not receive any service. "here is the run down"
We pulled up in my 09 focus and 2 sales people were standing in the only parking spot left.. they steped aside so we could park... Got out and no hello from the sales staff 5 feet from me.. right beside my car was the identical truck I wanted and said right out loud to the wife.. "this is the truck we are going to buy just wrong color".. wife walked right in front of the sales staff and still not even a hello or can I help you... they now walked away and went inside... to speed up the story.. we spent 30 minutes on the lot even went into the show room and in front of all the staff due to there was a blue flame truck in there.. again about 5ish feet from the sales staff talking out loud "This is the color we want just on that truck" still no contact from any employee.. now to top the cake a family was taking delivery of an XTR in Blue flame and wife and I stood there for 10 minutes staring at the truck admiring it and the new owner walked over to me and said "do you like her" we talked and i said I was here to possibly order one identical to hers... Her hubby and the sales person walked over and hubby asked what was up and right beside the salesman said "they are here to buy a truck like ours" the salesman said bye to his customers and walked away... thinking he might of went to get someone to assist us we wait a little bit and nothing.. Frustrated we left and bought one at the next dealer...
Here is my question.. Should I go into the sales manager and show him my new truck... Cause every add I see for this dealer leaves me a little annoyed that I was not good enough to talk to...
And to top it off they advertise on here so I have to see it every day..lol

Here is what I would do, I would call and ask to speak to the manager, tell them exactly what happened that day and ask if I would be received and serviced the same way again now that I want to purchase another truck. The manager might be able to sort something out for you if you push hard enough.
i personally would have stood in the show room and yelled
"you F!@#$%^ IDIOTS, i WAS here to buy a new truck and help somebody's pay check this month but since you're not smart enough make a guaranteed sale i'll take my money elsewhere."
but that's just me
or go and do what you sail, show the sales manager your truck and tell them why you didn't buy it from them

I would at least attempt to contact the sales manager.
I recently had a bad outing at a local Mazda Dealership. I ended up walking out, which led me to another dealership where I purchase my F150. So I guess it was a blessing.
But I wrote a letter to the General Manager letting them know of my experience. I wanted the Boss to know the treatment I got. Whether they cared or not.

I wouldn't go back ever again screw them if they acted that way towards you then they just don't care. They are taught to pay attention to a certain "looking" group of people and thats that. Sure they might seem to give a dam while your there telling your story to them but then they'll just laugh it off and sell another truck
I agree, I think contact should be made with the manager, just to let them know the situation and what it led to. I know that alone would make me feel better. I would simply call and request to speak to the manager. Tell them exactly what u told us then tell them you are happy you took your business elsewhere where you were treated with way better customer service.
