I just came across a '93 mustang with the 5.0, the only thing wrong with it is the convertible top needs replaced. The engine and transmission are in excelent running condition. he's asking $3,500, would this be worth buying?

drives great, and the milage is at 82151.5, and I'm debating on which one I wanna go for, this one, or an '03 gt that I know next to nothing about.

Personally I would go for the later model 03 gt'. The engine layout is very easy to learn, as well as easy to work on and modify. I'm going for an 02 svt cobra within the next few months if it's still available. Going to be giving my 00 GT to my cousin if I am able to grab the cobra.

I would go for the '03. The 4.6L is a much more potent motor when used for street purposes. Once you start getting into forced induction, the 5.0L is the better choice. Its easier to get power out of the 4.6 but it costs more.
