Default Work Task Lights - VFL3Z-13C788-A

Searched through the forum and haven't seen any mention of these lights. Is anyone running these on their truck? Seem pretty useful when working in the bed at night. Price isn't too bad for an OEM accessory ($328):

I just came across the same thing while browsing TASCA.

Anyone install these?

Did you guys have any luck?

I'd like to buy just the housing & use a different light..

Has anyone been able to determine the size of the light opening?

I haven't bought it yet. To be frank I don't have a need for additional lighting back there yet. Plus there are plenty other mods on the list which I will get more daily use out of.

I will likely do this in a month or two. Post up if you decided to move fwd before I do.

Just an update....
as per Steve from Tasca & Chicago Ford, both have indicated that the housing is not available separate from the entire kit...

I gave up on that set-up.... I'm in the middle of a similar project...

I'm using a standard NON LED brake light assembly with 3 Feniex Cannons hideaways. The Cannons are 3 function red & white. I just drilled out the opening to accept the hideaways and programmed them to my preferred flash patterns.
Under braking -> the cargo lights will illuminate red and the center brake light will strobe 2 times then go steady. (Will have a Raptor, 3 light appearance)
Cargo lights -> the cargo lights will function as normal, but extremely bright.
Warning lights -> the outers will be used & personal preference here too. Pick a flash pattern, synced or not and will be triggered by either a set of Raptor up fitter switches or a separate controller.
I'll be adding side and front lighting too...

I sourced a new 3rd brake light assembly and have began the modifications... the brake light & cargo lights will be plug and play.... the warning lights will be additional wiring.

I'll start a new thread and link it here for those interested...
