Won't start when hot

2001 f150 Lariat 5.4l. Twice in the last month it won't start after driving about 30 minutes and parking. Let it sit for 30 minutes and it starts and runs just fine.

my ex wife had a honda that did that, turned out to be a temp sensor that was providing a false reading and would not give it any fuel.
