Default Won't Start in the Morning

Hello,

My 1994 F150 XL 4.9L will not start in the morning after sitting overnight.
It is completely dead as if the battery was taken out. The very odd thing is that it will come back to life if I turn on my headlights. Then it runs fine for the rest of the day. I would be grateful for any ideas why it is acting up this way. Thanks to all.
