Won't idle in drive
I'm working on a 1995 F150, 4.9 liter, fuel injected, automatic transmission, 2 wheel drive. I cannot get it to idle in drive after the engine reaches operating temperature. Any ideas?

Sounds like it could be an iac (idle air control) or maf (mass air flow) sensor issue. Either dirty or failed and not supplying enough air....ie: you're running too rich on fuel. Do you get a heavy gas smell when it stalls or shortly after?
Here's a couple of videos that may help.
You should also check your PCV, hose and vacuum lines for holes, cracks or if any have "popped" off.
Could be a throttle position sensor (tps) but more likely an air flow or vacuum issue.
