Default wiring issue please help asap

so im having this problem where all my lights are flickering both interior and exterior when its parked and driving but it seems to slow when im driving. Any ideas on what the problem might be or has anyone encountered this before. I have recently replaced the battery and alternator. Im thinking its a bad ground from the alternator, but whats everyone elses thoughts on this. btw it has an automatic start if that might cause problems to i dont know

I think he means remote start.
The problem seems alternator related to me, but I am no electrical expert...

Yes it has a remote start...And now im told sometimes when my gf goes to get out and leave the truck running without the keys it kinda wants to shut off then restart itself. I would have a better idea if i was there but im currently active duty going home in 3 weeks so im trying to think of any possible problems it could be but i must get these fixed asap cuz i need it to get inspected

The first, easy check, is battery and alternator cables for loose connections. Is it just interior or all lights? Does it effect the radio or other electronics? Put a volt meter on the 12V power feed, cig lighter socket, to if it fluctuates

all my lights interior and exterior and since you mentioned it yes my radio when i turn the **** to make it louder it will get quiter and vice versa so i have to keep playing with it till it works...what if the current is fluctuating does that mean i have a bad ground or a short somewhere, correct?

Or your new alternator is bad and not producing steady voltage. Oh and a leap, but belt slipage is possible.

i tested the alternator before i put it in and when the old one was in there it did the same thing as well i havent checked for belt slippage but i probably should have replaced the belt with the alternator even tho it looked fine to me at the time. Im kinda figuring it has to be a wire not grounded properly or theres some mud on it cuz the motor needs a good wash. Since i last went offroading with it,its been acting up so im pretty sure my problem lies there
