Wiring In fog lights

The only thing that worries me about in the tool box is that if you leave them on it will suck lol, at least with the fog lights i should be able to tell their on, if they are them i deserve to have a dead battery, maybe they make something like a pressure switch that automatically turns off when the box is closed?
