Just bought a 2011 F-150 Lariat Limited 4x4 Supercrew. Factory wheels are 22 inch. I bought a snow tire and wheel package that was "reccommended" by the Tire Rack 17x8 wheels and P255/65R17 Blizzak tires. My speedometer is now not registering correctly. The dealer has now told me this tire/wheel combination is not correct for this truck and continued use will void the warranty. Any experience or comments would be appreciated.

 

Yes, your speedo/odo are about 5% off, but your dealer is a little bit dramatic with the void-the-warranty thing. Many people here run oversize tires without getting heat from their dealers. A more appropriate size would be 265/70/17 which would put you within 0.4%.
