Hi Team,
Need some advice. My 2017 F-150 side rubber of the windshield is cracking due to sun. Check with Ford dealer but they say need to remove windshield to replace the rubber. Any advice how to reseal or correct this. anyone passed true this? See picture.

You need to pull out the windshield and replace the rubber.

 

Actually, you need to replace the entire windshield to replace those. They're part of the glass. Not serviced separately. Is your windshield leaking?

Depending on a bunch of things, you can tape it off and silicone it. If you do things right and spend money, install a new windshield. Just make sure its done properly or it will eaks and cause electrical problems.
