my f150 has the factory stock window tint / darkened back windows, i want to get the two front windows tinted the same as the back, does anyone know if the factory darkens the windows or just tints them? and would the ford dealership be the place i should trust to match the darkness?

 

It is just window tint. Go to any decent window tint shop and they will do a good job. You most likely have 20% window film in the back and 35% on the front windows. Some states have regulations on window tint darkness, but they are always ways to get around the rules.

 

The front windows might have privacy glass- not just tint.

In any case, like dnlow said, just take it to any reputable tint shop. It's all the same
