Default window tint

first off i want to say hello just picked up a 2010 xlt crew cab 4x4 and absolutely love it. monday im going in and having the windows tinted and was hoping people had pictures to show how dark the tint will be ( prefer on a 4 door truck) for 5% and 15%. hes giving me the options to go with either of those 2.the rear windows are smoked but front are crystal clear right now

around here i think 20% is max BUT tint laws are not enforced so what im after is a darkish tint but not so dark i cant see out of them at night if that makes sense. the place offers a lifetime warranty against defects or if tint is forced to be removed for legal reasons hell reinstall the tint (at a legal tint percentage)at no extra cost. btw that picture is decieving due to the carport shade. the windows arent even remotly that dark. ( read no tint at all on front windows)

I would go no darker than 20 on the front windows. The rear windows go with 5. And the very back window go with 15. That is what I have and it is great. Still dark enough inside, but does not make you blind at night.

you know... out of all the time ive thought about this not once did using different % for rear vs front ever dawn on me... thank you for the idea. i just might do what youre saying. although using a different darkness for the rear glass and back doors seems a bit odd to me. do you have any pictures?>

you dont want to do the back window too dark cause you still have to see out it when backing up, as for the back doors, dont want anybody seeing what your up to back there, so the darker the better.... lol

Yeah it's kinda hard to see if your out where there aren't any road lights. I mounted fog lights under my truck to my reverse lights for extra light when backing up.
