So at the dealer today. Looking at 2 STX’s
crew cab And a Super cab.
Same configuration.
different prices for
101a equipment group.
super cab cost more $2800
Super crew ( bigger cab) $920
salesman said he saw that to. Asked a factory rap. But didn’t get a clear answer.

can someone explain this?

I looked at a local dealer... the supercab XL 101A is $2280, the supercrew 101A is $920.

 

yeah but the base price is higher. So the difference is already made up.

Numbers like this seem like they are created by accountants instead of reflecting actual cost/labor.
Many options have a very specific number that makes sense, perhaps this is set to meet a certain price point.
