Default Wife gift for Christmas?

What are you dudes getting the wife for Christmas? My wife and I are both poor as I am working 6 days a week to pay for flight school and my wife's college. we said we aren't doing Christmas, but please. I've got an awesome wife, and I want to show her I know that.

What are you guys doing?

Not sure what she's into, but a few things I've done in the past that went over very well.

-A day at a Day Spa for her and a friend (about $150.00 - 200.00)
-Complete night out, get dressed up go to a nice restaurant followed with dancing, live band, show, stay at a hotel or something like that
-Gift sets from Bath and Body works. (all chicks love that stuff lol)
-If she has interests, hobbies what have you, do or get something supportive of that.

My wife has always been the giver and never really the receiver in her family and always puts everyone else first. I haven't had too many opportunities to really get her what she deserved, but this year that is all changing

UPS is set to deliver her set of 1 carat each princess cut stud diamond earrings on Monday afternoon

Haven't tied the knot yet but.... I second the "anything from Bath & Body Works"... Damn place gives me a headache but she loves it. I got us concert tickets for our favorite band in Little Rock in March and several little things that aren't expensive per-se(?) but things that I know she would like (cheesy classic Christmas movies, etc etc). Tight budgets suck. Wish I could buy her the world.

Merry Christmas to all, best of luck.

^^ WHoa, that kinda puts a damper on the discussion

I made mine a custom large canvas print by taking multiple pictures of her flower garden and stitching them together and then using Painter12 to make it look like an oil painting. Printed it up on a large 5 foot wide canvas and can't wait for her to see it.

It's the thinking of her and going out of your way to do something that matters to HER that shows you love her.

Sorry about that man .

I have not tied the knot, but totally agree with bath and body works. Even better when someone gives you a $20 off coupon ! Also was thinking a remote start as she hates the cold (we live in nh :-o)

We agreed not to buy each other anything, so with the money we would have spent
(and some extra) we are going to Vegas in January.

Getting her a new BROOM, another for her MOTHER so they can ride together. Seriously though, never get them a kitchen utensil, they may throw it at you. Luckily I have been divorced for 20+ yrs so I don't have to worry about gifts, and can go out and buy a new truck for myself whenever I want.
