Default Why ford?

WE all know that y'all have own a ford now or in the pas but I was wondering why y'all got a ford. I have owned 2 f150 and will never buy any other car company.

For me it's because Ford is tough, dependable, strong and quite frankly the best looking out there.

I've driven them all...Ford just feels right. Even when they wear out, they feel right.

All the trucks in my extended family are Ford, no Chevs...
My Boss only buys Fords for the company, and has only driven two Chevy's in his life.

for my family, it started back in the 50's at Nissen Ford in Albany Oregon.. grand dad and his brother in law, both in their dirty logging clothes went to a local Chevy dealer and were kicking tires. No one helped them and when they did finally get a salesman's attention he was rude bla bla bla(your average salesman) they left in their old pickup and went a few blocks away to Nissen Ford where they were greeted by Jim Brown, a salesman there.

They proceeded to buy 2 new pickups (with cash) but the only provisio was Mr Brown had to go to the Chevy dealer and tell them they had just lost 2 cash sales and many future sales to Ford..

Since then we've bought hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of Fords and very few other brands in my family. (and a lot of them from Nissen Ford)

Because they offered the best truck for my needs and wants when I was truck shopping in 2010. I'm not brand loyal to any brand other than my sports teams. I love my truck and haven't regretted it at all in the nearly 2 years I've had it. It still puts a smile on my face every day. Several years down the line when I'm in the market for a new vehicle I'll again check out all of them that appeal to me and pick the one that fits my wants and needs best.

When I was young and wanted to learn about working on cars I drove a plymouth or hung around people that drove chevy's. Now that I am older and enjoy driving cars more than working on them, I drive Fords. I must credit G.M. for my mechanicial skills. I saw this on a mechanics hat once "Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust. If it weren't for chevy's our tools would rust."
