who else hates the cold?
Hello to all
Tips to remove salt from car in winter:
1) Wait to do this after you had a fair amount of snow accumulation. Only try this when the temps are 35˚ F and above. Then, go to the store and get yourself a small bottle of baby shampoo. Just the plain standard stuff. You don't want to rub conditioners and additives all over your car. Basically you want a very mild surfactant that will give your car the touch of a baby's bottom.
2) Get all your accessories ready for the quick wash. Line them up near your car. Fill 1 bucket up with ¾ of water and just two small squeezes of the baby shampoo. Swish it around with the washing mitt. Then fill the other bucket up with plain lukewarm/warm water. Just don't make the water too hot for either bucket.
3) Prep your car by dusting accumulated snow off. We are dealing with salt, not snow here. Quickly brush the warm washing mitt on your car with very little pressure. All you need to do is run the mitt along the sides of your car, mirrors, hood, trunk area so that you can see what your car really looks like underneath all that salt! This is a fast process. Take your time, but just swipe and dip the washing mitt in the sudsy water from time to time to clean it and keep going until you are done.

no problem with the cold, bring it on, I'm heading to Saskatchewan in a week or two where the temps are -30c on a daily basis, spent some time up at James bay building a diamond mine 2 years ago where it hit -50c, wife says I have my own internal furnace, I HATE the heat, cant dress for that stuff
I love Ohio. I will take a couple of months of this cold stuff just to be here the rest of the year. Sitting by a nice fire watching a bowl game and catching up on f150forum.com with my laptop isn't so bad. We also get a chance to play with our trucks in the snow. Oh, I might take a short trip out west in February for a change and a chance to drive with the windows down in winter, but other than that I know spring is right around the corner. Oh, and if it gets a little colder, there is always a chance fo some ice fishing.
Kinda makes you all want to move to the snow belt doesn't it?

I have been to Minneapolis on several occasions. Only once in the summer. The rest in the winter. All the natives seamed to love it to my surprise. I thought they would complain about the cold but I can’t remember one. Also, I never saw so many beautiful blonds in one place. Now that I think about it, maybe that’s why they all loved it. Maybe they didn’t even notice the cold.
nope its all about the chicks!!!

and its beautiful all the other seasons too i suppose. the landscape of northern minnesota is incredible. i love it up there but unfortunatly i cant live up there
