Question Who do you use?

Who do you guys/gals use when purchasing items for your mods and accessories?? Do you have a local shop? Go factory direct? Specific online retailer? Also, when answering, mention some of the bad ones and who to stay away from, I'm trying to figure out where to spend my money.

You can't go wrong with 4wheelparts.com, online customer service is good, and I can only speak for the Houston crew, but they are very knowledgeable and do a good job with install. From what I've heard, I would stay away from the eBay brands, its pretty much hit or miss with them and you get what you pay for.

Also be sure to check the classifieds on the site, guys are constantly selling slightly used stuff for a pretty good price. Feel free to ask any questions.

I've had my experiences with ebay and for the most part won't do it again... so, I agree with you there. I'm basically just looking for a place with quick shipping and good customer service that also has a good selection of quality items. I know some of the brands of accessories I prefer. I'm just looking for everyone else's take on it as this is my first full-size truck. I've probably had the best luck and best pricing by going factory direct, if possible, in the past. I'll check the website you suggested, Thanks!!

4wheelparts.com won't even let me select F150 as a make for 2011 almost as if they have nothing in their inventory listed. They have F250 and up for F-series trucks, but no F150 listing at all.

That's really weird, you can probably shop using a 2010 for the time being as most of the parts are the same, and if you want you could shoot their customer service an email...

Sounds weird but I run everything thru amazon first. They gave me credit and lots of times there cheaper. Most items are free shipping over 25 bux. Example got my k&n 63 series intake for 223 free shipping.
