Default Where to put a sub?

I recently purchased an '06 F-150 Latiat scab and promptly installed my Pioneer AVIC-F700BT H/U from my Milan (the Milan had the premium sound package which sounded unbelievable!) and I'm looking to add a sub to help with the sound. The front seats are the 60/40 split bench with fold down arm rest in the middle and shifter on the column.

Any suggestions on a sub and placement of it? I was sort of thinking of putting it under the bench seat and arm rest, but not sure if there is enough room. Anyone done this that may have some input?

Thanks in advance!

If you have a Scab, then there are companies that make sub boxes out there, both single sub and dual sub boxes, that will fit underneath your rear seat. Simple google search will turn up some results. Under the back seat is the most common place for these sub boxes. Just remember if you get a dual sub box, you'll have to relocate your jack.

I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my box from my '02 F150 Scab, which I haven't had since 12/06 and won't fit under the back seat of my '06 Screw. Had it in my '02 for less than a year prior to getting in an accident then trading in the truck.

Thanks for the info! I guess there is not enough room under the front bench then? I need the small storage under the rear seat for my tool box, so I may have to look at replacing my OEM speakers with something that will give me the bass I'm looking for.

They fit 8" subs and the plain jane charcoal carpeting. I like a little thump, not too much, but prefer clarity over too much bass. Still has '02-'03 model Fosgate Punch subs in it. Had them built with the extra 5/8" depth too. Haven't gotten a new box for the '06 Screw yet, as moeny has been tight. But I think this is the model and company I bought from. Been way to long since I purchased it to remember clearly.

My 8" Bazooka tube doesn't fit under the rear seat, but it sorta wedges in front of one of the rear seats so it doean't even effect footspace if someone sits back there, and that's almost never anyway. If I need the space I just unplug the tube and stick it in my toolbox.
