Default Where does this go???

1997 F150 with the 5.4L with 200k

Passenger side behind the intake mani, there is a hose that looks like 3/8"-5/16" coolant hose that is coming off a hard line. Possibly part of the heater hose?? Anyways, It deteriorated and broke off and sprung a leak of coolant everywhere! NOW I CANT FIND OUT WHERE IT GOES BECAUSE IT FELL OFF ON THE ROAD I've heard it called the "supply tube" .
Can anyone help provide diagram of its location so i know where to put it?
Thanks in advance!

It's a coolant by-pass hose. It attaches to a T on the heater core hard line. Nope, you won't be able to see the T without a inspection mirror and a good flashlight. The connection is between the passenger side head (bottom) and firewall.

yea It broke off at the intake and the head area. So where's the other end go to once I replace it, down lower around that area more down by the transmission? Or does it come up from behind the intake and out towards the front and connect to something?

Goes underneath the intake and into the back of the water pump housing made into engine block. Make sure you buy the 2 o-rings that they slide onto or you will be doing it again.

I can’t figure out if something’s missing or if I’m blind

You have to remove the upper intake manifold to see and replace it.
